Services

Two services.
One bar.

We do two things. Diligence is the decision input  -  a written recommendation on whether an AI product or roadmap should ship, get killed, or pivot. Setup is the build help  -  product practice and direction for a team that's decided to ship something AI-powered and needs senior product muscle to get there.

Sometimes the two are sequenced: a diligence engagement ends with "ship it," and the same client comes back for setup. More often each stands alone. Either way, we take a small number of engagements at a time, and only on work where outside senior judgment can genuinely change the outcome.

01Service

AI Product Diligence

A clear go / no-go / pivot recommendation, in writing, in 2 to 4 weeks.

Who it's for

Investors and boards facing a portfolio company's next AI bet. Scale-up CEOs deciding whether to commit months to a build. Corporate innovation leads with budget on the table and a go / no-go due. Anyone whose next decision on an AI product is real, costly to get wrong, and currently being made with mostly internal voices.

What happens

Two to four weeks, depending on scope. A kickoff to align on what's being decided. Two or three working sessions with the client team and any relevant stakeholders. Document review, technical assessment, and where useful, conversations with target customers or domain experts. A written final readout with a clear recommendation.

What you get

A diligence document covering technical feasibility, product viability, commercial viability, and a recommended path forward. Honest. Specific. Includes a "what we'd kill" section when warranted  -  and we are willing to write that section when the answer is kill it.

How it's split

Dmitry leads technical feasibility. Regina leads product viability and commercial assessment. The recommendation is jointly written and jointly defended.

This is for you if
  • The decision is genuinely high-stakes  -  a real bet, not a small experiment.
  • You want senior outside eyes before months get committed to building.
  • You'd rather hear "kill it" from us now than from the market in six months.
Not for you if
  • You're looking for a vendor evaluation or RFP scoring exercise.
  • You need engineering hands to do the building.
  • The decision is already made and you want validation.

AI Product Setup

A 1 to 3 month engagement to install the product practice an AI-powered product needs to actually ship.

Who it's for

Scale-ups and corporate teams that have decided to ship something AI-powered and don't have the product muscle to do it well. Often post-diligence clients where the answer was "ship it, but you need help." Sometimes clients who already know they need product setup and don't need diligence first.

What happens

Regina embeds with the team as fractional product lead  -  one to three months, scoped per engagement. She owns the product practice during that window: roadmap, prioritization, the decisions about what to kill, the connective tissue between engineering, design, and the customer-facing side of the business. Dmitry provides AI architecture direction and senior advisory at key checkpoints.

What you get

A shipped MVP or first production release. A working product management process. A team that can keep going after we're gone  -  that's the test. We're not building a dependency.

How it's split

Regina is the primary delivery capacity. Dmitry is the senior AI and architecture voice in the room when it matters  -  sprint reviews, technical decisions, vendor or model choices, the moments where getting it wrong costs months.

This is for you if
  • You've decided to ship and the bottleneck is product, not engineering.
  • You want a senior operator embedded, not a deck of recommendations.
  • You're prepared for honest decisions about what to cut, including features the team is attached to.
Not for you if
  • You want full-time product leadership long-term  -  we're a setup engagement, not a permanent fractional role.
  • You need an implementation team or developers.
  • The product strategy isn't decided yet  -  that's a diligence conversation first.
03Pricing

On pricing.

We don't publish prices. Engagements vary in scope, and the right price comes out of a 30-minute conversation about what you actually need  -  not a pre-set package. We'll be specific and direct about it on the first call.
